View 6 RepliesIV restarted all 3 ways. IV restarted all settings. IV done everything you can do but it won't fix itself. I know it's not a hardware problem because with headphones in it works fine and there's no dust in any of the ports and it's not a mute problem because even YouTube and music app don't work sound doesn't work period.

What the title says really. Can you control the iPad with apple remote headphones? Are there any other remote headphones that work, or is it just the apple ones?
View 3 RepliesI have tried 4 sets of standard plug headphones. They are loose in the ipad jack.
View 9 RepliesWe are having issues with our ipads on the ipad cart. When we are plugging in headphones, the sound is very faint or not existent. I have checked all the settings. The sound is up all the way for headphones. These are brand new headphones. I have tried several pairs. I have also tried my personal Apple Earbuds that came with my personal ipad. The sound works great if there are not headphones plugged into the port. The headphones work fine on other devices such as computer.

I would like to get a new pair of Bt headphones for my iPad but I am not sure which one is the best? Anyone using BT headphones or is it better to stick with normal ones?
View 9 RepliesI'm looking to purchase Bluetooth headphones for my iPad. Anyone have any good suggestions or ones to stay away from?
View 20 RepliesI want both of my kids to be able to watch a show on the ipad at the same time. Is pairing two sets of headphones possible?
View 2 RepliesHas anyone read anything about whether or not the iPad will allow you to CHANGE THE TRACKS with your bluetooth headphones? That is a feature that is greatly missed on the iPhone.
View 4 RepliesLooking for a stereo BT headphone for u ... May give up the iPhone here. Not sure on that as of yet.
View 9 RepliesI'm looking for recommendations for BT headphones that are guaranteed to work with both the iPad and Touch. I realize that I'll probably give up some fidelity but since I primarily use my Touch (and in the future, an iPad) for podcasts and videos, I'm fine with this. My primary goal is to lose the cord.
View 4 RepliesIs it possible to pair two sets of headphones simultaneously to one iPad?
View 3 RepliesDo I need special headphones for my iPad. My iPod headphones do not fit into the hole and I don't want to force them in...maybe I should push harder??
View 5 RepliesI never owned an iPod, so maybe this is a dumb question, buy I have to ask it. Can you hook up headphones to the iPad? I plan on using it for watching movies while traveling, and certainly can't depend on playing it through the external speaker sitting next to other passengers.
View 4 RepliesI've had my iPad for a couple months now, and all of a sudden my good pair of headphones won't play through it.When I plug them in and start any audio it plays through the built in speakers, but when I pull them out while it's playing an ipod song it'll stop, so it is recognizing it.The speakers aren't broken because they will work with both my iPhone and iMac still. Also, other poor quality headphones will work in the audio jack, just not these ones, even though they have always worked before.
View 1 RepliesWent to my local AT&T Store looking for some headphones for my iPhone and iPad (BT in particular). Joked around that the were left behind in Apple and Best Buy offering iPad's. I was told by the "manager" IIRC that they will never carry the iPad since it was not a "real" netbook. That it could not do word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint type presentations - for the most part compatible with MS office
