Recently, the Facebook app on my iPad (1st Gen) started to open vertically, even though my iPad is locked horizontally. It is the only app that does this. I didn't notice if it happened after an update, either to Facebook, or to iOS, lthough I don't think I have had an update to iOS recently.

It's been 10 months since the 3GS was released and we don't even have a date from AT&T as to when the feature/function that we were SOLD with our iPhones will be enabled. Meanwhile, many other countries across the world are enjoying their iPhones as Apple meant them to be enjoyed, and as we the consumers expect.If AT&T's service is capable of handling 3G iPads, there is no reason why it can't handle tethering our iPhones. Their network is far less taxed than Sprint or Verizon, and yet you can tether with those company's smart phones. I'm tired of waiting patiently for AT&T to come through. They were late with MMS and we're already seeing rumors of a new iPhone. I repeat, A NEW iPHONE when I didn't even get to use the features on the soon to be "old" model (3GS).

View 3 RepliesI broke my iPad and went to the apple store to get a replacement and now all my apps have vanished, the genius did a final back up and sent me on my way, when I got home the apps started updating and disappeared one by one until they were all gone. iCloud is now showing two iPads, the old one and the new one?

My new Ipaid Air works fine, except for the Facebook app that won't open. The app works perfectly on all my other devices (Imac, Ipod, Iphone). I tried switching off the Ipad, rebooting it, downloading the app anew, changing passwords - but nothing works. Every time I try to open the app, it asks for my password and then rejects it, saying that an error occurred and that it can't connect to the server (but my WiFi works perfectly well).

View 3 RepliesI just got my iPad2 (had a iPad from launch) and while I'm very happy with it, the camera (front facing) does bother me a little. It seems it's at a pretty weird angle. I need to hold the iPad almost perfect vertical to myself to get my picture in view to do facetime chats. It would feel more natural to be able to hold the iPad at a (very) slight angle but the way I need to hold it right now, I'm almost looking down at the screen from the top. Is this normal?

I picked up this satchel for my Ipad. it fits perfectly with a bit more space for a maybe the charger.looks kinda fancy, costs more than the Ipad itself, but it looks good.the Ipad won't fit in vertically because it's too long wont zip up, but horizontally it fits perfectly.I needed something for when I want to take just my ipad to meetings or out to a cafe. I didn't want to use my brief case, which is too heavy, and I only carry that around when I'm wearing a suit. this is a bit more dress casual, which is what I needed.

I preordered the 16GB white wi-fi only new iPad, and it arrived last friday at 11am, and it was PERFECT! Screen was amazing, no dead pixels, and no yellow tint, and no backlight bleeding either! it was great! UNTIL TONIGHT, I looked at my iPad after setting it down (in a case) on my table, and when examining it, there is a line that goes down the screen vertically, and left me wondering... WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED! I thought I was lucky to not have any of those problems but I guess I jinxed myself and now I am at a loss. I backed it up and set up a Genius Bar appointment tomorrow night, but really, what is going on? I haven't been rough on it at all, and haven't taken it out of a book style case since I got it friday.

View 4 RepliesSome downloaded apps are oriented sideways, because my iPad is sideways in my Zaggfolio keyboard case, and I cannot find any way to rotate the apps so they are vertical when my iPad is horizontal in my Zaggfolio case. I sent a question to the app developers and one of them responded that I had asked a good question and they would consider it on their next update. Does that mean that I have to remove my iPad from my keyoard case every time I want to use those apps. This issue is only happening on some apps. Also, my iPad is not in the locked position.

Don't mean to be a troll here, but not all is wine and roses with my own iPad experience.I was loving my new iPad until, about 5 hours after delivery, a display glitch raised it's ugly head. I now have a thin blue line running vertically across the lower 5th of my display.I've restored to factory defaults...glitch still persists. Searching for troubleshooting notes now that may be helpful, but it's looking like a Monday trip to the Genius Bar.So now I'm a little worried about hardware reliability...
