My 3G iPad will arrive god-knows-when, but in the meantime, I'm trying to grab whatever accessories are necessary before they sell out. I'm eye-ing an InCase sleeve for it, but before I pull the trigger, I'm curious about how necessary people find the angled cases for comfort of typing?

View 3 RepliesNow that the iPad has almost been out for a month, what is your favorite case for being able to type conformtably? I bought the Apple case the day the iPad came out but I dont't really like it. I've been wanting to get the Incase Convertible Book Jacket but my Apple store has been sold out since it came out. Is there any other cases better than the Incase convertible jacket that can do the same stuff? I mainly want it for the low angle that props it up so I can type.

View 1 RepliesI have been on this ipad board ever since I bought an ipad back in june. I currently have a sleeve and the apple case for my ipad. I truly hate the apple case and never use it. I am looking for a thin case that has a typing position. That is really all I am looking for. I saw the booq case and fell in love with it but I heard it wears easily and is overall not that good of a case.

Im hoping to get an iPad 32gb Wifi in the next week or so and started to look at case for it.I like the idea of the Apple iPad case, and others like it where it folds to allow great angle for typing on but at the same time i'd like something that would help protect the iPad from any knocks or small falls (nothing as heavy duty as to warrant the Otterbox). I've had iSkin cases for my iPhone and iPod in the past and like the protection that give but looking at iSkin's iPad cases it doesnt help for landscape typing or view videos.

View 3 RepliesNot sure of anyone has bought one of these but dealextreme has a cheap case that has the same functions as the apple case for cheap. Could be a cheap temporary case for anyone waiting for a better case. Most likely fake leather and quality could be an issue but for $12.70 it could make a decent temp case. View 3 RepliesSo I've had an iPad for a few months now, and I've started using facebook chat and gchat apps recently and need to change the iPad angle for typing.I originally bougt and apple iPad case, and love its small size and ability to fold completely back, as well as stay in an angled position. But i hate how dirty it gets, and the fact that the bezel is covered by the case. I then bought a yoobao slim case, and while i loved it's slim design and ability to fold over to angle itself, it didn't fold flat, so i gave it to my dad. I like using it naked the most, but it sucks to type on, so im looking for something to use that fits the above criteria and is a good build quality.

View 11 RepliesI've used five cases now, and the apple one is my favorite. Anyone who says it's tough to remove the iPad from this case....i don't understand. Very, very easy. Haven't had an issue with dirt. Hinge is still holding up. I think it's a great case, but i will concede that it's overpriced.
