Any Way To Wirelessly Sync With Yahoo?
Jun 5, 2010Is there a way to sync to my Yahoo account to get contacts and calendar events wirelessly?
It'd be silly if i had to connect to my PC to do this - what good would that do me?

So just bought a new one and when I went to turn the I pad on it just keeps showing the iTunes screen with the cable do I have to connect it to a computer first?

Apr 2, 2012I have icloud set up, made sure all the buttons are in the right place, etc--and i was able to sync wirelessly once. But now it will not recognize my ipad . I tried to restart it, and itunes, but still will not recognize it.

Apr 9, 2012It is set up properly. My iPad 1 and iPhone 3GS work ok. The iPad 2 does not find my computer if I start the sync from it. And it does not show up in iTunes although my other devices are always there.
I have restored the iPad, reset it, etc. It did show up a few times, but not lately.
It works ok when connected with the cable. Has the latest software on it and the Mac is snow leopard with all updates.

Sync To Yahoo
Jun 20, 2011I am looking for a way to sync the calendar and contacts with a yahoo account from the ipad 2 to yahoo. I have managed to sync the other way (ie yahoo to ipad 2) but can't seem to find anyhting to do it the way I want. I plan to use the ipad 2 for work as well as fun, so if I add an item in calendar or contacts on the ipad 2 at work will want to sync it back to yahoo as a back up. In the past I have used a Palm TX and it sync automatically.

I am trying to sync my email contacts from my computer, there are two other users with email addresses on this computer, when I sync with icloud I get some one else contacts. When I sync with itunes to my yahoo contacts I get a message (itunes could not sync with yahoo address book because an unknown error occurred (6) Please try again later. When I turn on the ipad's Bluetooth, I don't receive 'devices' in range...If I go down the cables route... I'd like a socket plate on the wall (to receive the Jack) using a curly cable from wall to iPad. What would I need and where could I buy the necessary?
