I have a 1st generation 30g Video I-Pod. I have always been able to sync movies to the I-Pod that were not purchased from I-Tunes. In general I load the I-Pod with movies and then play the movies either on the I-Pod or through a Home Dock on my TV. Has something changed or is there something wrong with the I-Pod?
My friend was using iPad 3 from 4 months and now he is facing a strange problem. When ever he is trying to sync photos, He is not able to do that. However there is no any problem of memory as there are still 8 GB left. What is the issue and how to solve it?
I have a first generation iPad that I have been using for two years. I have decided to purchase the new 3rd generation iPad soon and was wondering how I get everything from my existing iPad to my new 3rd gen iPad when I get it. I assume that the answer is iTunes or from my backup. Just looking for the method.
Trying to Sync new movies to my iPad and 3 newly purchased movies give me an error message during Sync. Each time it says:"Some of the items in iTunes library, including (Movie Title), were not copied to the iPad "(iPad Name)" because you are not authorized for them on this computer."
- Movies play on my MacBook (main computer) - Movies are stored on external HD mapped for iTunes Media folder location in Preferences - Movies tab in Sync is checked to "Sync Movies" - Movies I'm attempting to Sync are checked - I've deauthorized & authorized the computer at least 5 times (clicked on same Movies to make sure they played on MacBook, which they did) - I've checked all username and password settings as well as all my payment info - I've searched "discussion community" for answers and have not found anything
I just bought the HD version of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Swe 1" and it will absolutely not sync to my iPad. My other purchased HD movies sync fine. It's supposed to have English subtitles as well. I really don't understand why it won't sync.
After sync, having downloaded 5 tv episodes and 2 movies, Video application shows no videos to play. I had no sync errors, and free space in the iPad decreased as files were transfered. iPad shows 5gb of video content, how do I play it?
I just got my first iPad and have gotten a couple of movies on it which I ripped from my original DVDs.But when I try to write a description of the film I can only write 4 lines? I can't write artists, year, genre and so on ... I can write it in the file itself, but they do not arrive at my iPad?Is this only possible on movies bought through iTunes? If you look at Steve Jobs keynote with iPad you can see that he has a long description of the movie and much more when he shows the movie UP.
I downloaded the app on my macbook pro and got it to show up on my ipad but when I tried to play the movie it says it was unable to play the movie and I bought them all from iTunes, does anyone know how to fix this?
I was wondering, what's the best video converter program to play all my movies in my i-pad ? most of my movies are in the matrovska format and what do you think is the best converter without losing too many quality from it ?
I recently updated my iPad to iOS 4.2, but I'm having some problems purchasing and renting movies now. When I go to the iTunes Store on my iPad and purchase or rent a movie, they start downloading as they normally would, but when they are finished they don't appear in the Movies App. So they basically disappear.

A female friend just got an IPAD I said I would find a way to xfer my d/led movies to her Ipad. One thing to consider is that that Ipad seems to like MP4 video. So I'll need to convert all of my *.avi, *.mkv, and *.wmv movies and convert them to *.mp4 format before moving them over. It seems as though Media Buddy would/will be best as it does two jobs, converts any video to mp4 format(the ONE that Ipad prefers) AND xfers it over to the Ipad! I think Media Buddy will be the way to go if I can find it! Alot of people, Apple folk and others, said/say use Itunes. I ok d/led Itunes and installed it. Itunes ONLY recognises mp4 video/movies and although Windows 7 Home Premium sees the Ipad, the Itunes I installed does not! Ok So I've got to convert the movie file but then how/where in Itunes do I xfer the files over? So how do I get Itunes FIRST to recognize my friends Ipad AND then how do I xfer the movies? What/Where/Which Ipad button on which Ipad menu does the xfer? Obviously I don't have Apple logo tattooed to my butt. i.e. I am illiterate when it comes to Apple computers, pads, pod, etc.
I have the 4th gen iPad so I should be able to play 1080p vids but apparently I am running into some troubles with them. What is the best software out there to convert movies on? paid or free it does not matter ...I have uploaded a picture of my conversion settings that still will not work.
I own an ipad 2 (iOS 5.1) and have purchased video content from iTunes. I've downloaded the content to my ipad and played the content via the pre-installed 'video' app but the audio is out of sync by about half a second. I have tried restarting the ipad and re-downloading/downloading other titles but the audio is still out of sync.
i just converted a few of my dvds to mp4 to sync with my ipad. Some of them sync just fine but some wont. All movies play in itunes. The resoltuion of the movies varies, but one of the ones at 1280 sync's over without a problem. what might be preventing some of my movies from syncing but not others. no errors or warnings are given by itunes.
The movie was taken by Canon SD 780 IS. An error message appears: " iPad doesn't support this movie format' and refuses to sync. But on Apple website it says supporting the '.mov' format which used by Canon.
