Oct 29, 2010Anyone know how to save emails on the iPad? As I travel, the emails seem to disappear as they get older. Quite disruptive if I don't always have my outlook computer with me, which I'd rather not. And I don't really need to store stuff in the cloud with mobile me. Just need to be sure that all my emails are on the iPad unless I affirmatively delete.

Sep 25, 2011I am a stay at home mom with a special needs daughter. I wanted the iPad to be able to have all entertainment together ie, movies, games, Internet, music etc. And to also be organized for her doctor appts. I am having problems saving some of my email photos. They go into the photo screen empty titled .jpg. I have some wonderful pics I want to save on my iPad, and have been unable to do so.

Mar 15, 2011If I send a full resolution jpeg photo via email from my Incredible to my iPad it saves just fine. The problem is in November of last year Verizon pushed an update to Android phones limiting email attachments to 5 mb and my Vignette saves pictures as large as 10pm so I have to crop them to get them below the 5pm limit. This is where it gets weird, anything sent from the Inc that has been cropped, even though it is the same jpeg format, will not save. A box with "jpg" is the only thing saved.Are there any settings on the iPad I can change? I'm going to try sending them to photobucket then grabbing from there and see if that's a work around but I'm stumped as to why it is happening?

Several messages I would like to save in iBooks or even dropbox or whatever. Problem is, how do I get it out of email? I can obviously copy it, but no where to paste it.

May 14, 2014I recently composed an email which I need to send within a couple of weeks time so I saved it as a draft. No problem there, other than today when I needed to reply to an email I had just received. I was in the middle of doing so when I realised that I couldn't remember a certain telephone number so I again saved the draft. To my horror, the draft which I was going to send within the next two weeks was deleted
My question is, does the native email app only allow one draft at a time to be saved? If not, what did I do wrong as I do not want this to happen again if I have a couple of drafts I need to save.
I have just gone back into the app and the deleted draft has just miraculously reappeared.

Apr 10, 2010For those trying to "do real work" on their ipads, there is an iPhone app worth looking at. Docs 2 Go premium. Yes, I know it's an iPhone app, but dataviz never got the memo claiming that all ithings are toys. I tried it and it opens ms office format docs as well as google docs. Once they make an iPad version I'll be all over it. I was able to pull word doc attachments from my email and I could have saved it to google docs if I wanted to. The only price is 15 bucks for the app plus staring at it in 1x or 2x.

Aug 18, 2014If I were to receive a photo within an email (yahoo), is there a way of lifting/saving the photo to some sort of album ?.
And secondly using yahoo, I find there is no way of exiting/closing down each time I leave yahoo mail, without going to settings>mail>close account.
