Plugged Into The Usb - Safely Remove Hardware

Oct 14, 2010

I was told there was an ipod issue where you had to click on safely remove hardware to disconnect your ipod, or else it would corrupt and ruin the ipod. I have my new ipad plugged into the usb, but when I go to the safely remove hardware icon on the bottom toolbar, it does not list the ipad. Does that mean it's ok to just unplug it and not worry about the safely remove thing

Won't Remove Calendars / Can't Find Option To Remove

Jun 11, 2010

When I did my initial "sync", the process entered all of my calendars onto my iPad. They are not "connected" to caldav, exchange, etc. and do not update. So, what I'd like to do is to remove all calendars and add them manually. However, I've not found a way to do this - any suggestions? I have removed the mail accounts (and will re-enter them) but I haven't found the method for removing calendars yet.

Only Charges When Plugged Into A/C - Not USB

May 6, 2010

When I plug in my iPad to sync, it does not charge the battery. So I have to plug it in to the A/C to charge the battery once I'm done with the sync. Really a pain and certainly not what I expected. The iPod's sync and charge simultaneously. Anyone else having this problem.

Reboot Itself After Plugged Into Charger.

May 14, 2010

Has anyone else had this happen. My iPad for the first time since launch dropped to 10% battery, I plugged it in to charge it, before i went to bed. I place it on the stand and noticed it was rebooting. I waited. My wallpapers were the same but the front page icons were default with the message on how to move em, while the rest of the icons were all over the next 6 or 7 pages. I had to spend some time reorganizing, but I never seen this happen before. I was charging and went to open the ABC app to watch something before I went to be. What is also odd, is the device seems a little snappier now. I have turned it off and rebooted it 4 or 5 times before. What causes this?

Battery Dying While Plugged In

Nov 1, 2010

Has anyone else experienced the Ipad dying when plugged in? It will be at 100% with the battery bolt showing charging, and when I watch a movie, or play a game the battery will start dying. Would like to know if this is what it is supposed to do, or it may be a software glitch not letting the Ipad know to use AC power instead of the battery when plugged in. Dual-Core Intel Xeon 16GB Ram
