View 6 RepliesEverything is in the title: I recently bought the Invisible shield for my Ipad, and I have a question concerning the spray and the squeegee that comme with it.
I woder welter if :the spray, that I applied only on the invisible shield only, not on the device, as they say, can arm the Ipad in any way, or is perfectly safe to use when installing the shield on the device.the pressure I put to remove the bubbles on the front and the back of the devise once the shield is completely installed could harm the device in any way as tell.
anyone here have an invisible shield for their ipad? how is it? does it fit well, is it really invisible and how easy was it to apply?

View 5 RepliesI've decided to buy an Invisible Shield for my iPad but I'm terrible at applying screen protectors. Where can I go to get it installed? All the "Zagg retailers" in Calgary said they don't install them. For those of you who bought them, who applied it?
View 4 RepliesIs it just me or is the Zagg Invisible Shield really easy to scratch? I installed it on my iPad and managed to accedently scuff it with my fingernail inside of a week. I figured that it would have been tougher.

View 3 RepliesI've read through a bunch of the complaints that people have had about using protective shields with the Apple iPad case. I was hoping to get a good idea of which shield to use. I haven't yet installed mine, but have formed an opinion based on what I've read and have been told by AppleCare tech support.1. the invisible shield by itself MOSTLY seems to be the best (or at least the most widely used....in terms of how many folks in these discussions use this vs other shields).2. There a ALOT of people who've gotten a blue hue on the area of the shield under constant pressure from the iPad case (on the back and around the edges of the front).3. This shield seems to have great tendency for little to no bubbles after installation and drying.4. The ant-glare version seems great at both reducing glare AND fingerprints. It also removes very little sharpness from the picture quality (barely noticeable as was put in the relative thread). The regular version seems no more (but no less) glossy than the iPad screen.

View 3 RepliesI am a veteran of best skins ever, but I was wondering if there was anything better. Are these companies all using the same shield materials? I am hoping to find one that preserves the silky smooth scrolling action and is not too rubbery. More important, though is the that the shield is crystal clear but still can reduce some of the horrible glare. I find that the best skins ever shield for my iPod touch was clear and did reduce some glare actually. But it was not that silky smooth for scrolling. Just wondering what you guys are buying out there.

View 12 RepliesMy iPad has arrived! 1 day ahead of its ship date.I had my Zagg invisible shield here and ready to go. I am not happy with how it is looking.First it sez to spray both sides of the invisible shield with SHIELDSpray & then place it down on the screen. I did so very reluctantly as I am now putting a liquid (via the invisible shield) down on my virgin screen and as I squeegee out the protector the liquid is coming out the edges too. (Yes, I did spray it very lightly.) Now that it is applied its got splotches....which I think is related to the liquid.
View 6 RepliesJust got my iPad in the mail a couple hours ago. It's naked, but surely I will put a screen protector on it sooner or later. There are two malls that both cover ipads, ghost armor and invisible shield. I just don't know which one to go with. I only want the screen covered. Does anyone know price difference and quality differences in between the two. I'd like sod first hand experiences, in the mean time I'll be doing some research.
View 9 RepliesGetting iPad shipped in July, got an Incase Neoprene case. Should I get an invisible shield screen protector? I couldnt decide because I didnt know if it would make the screen tackier or less responsive.
View 11 RepliesThere's 2 kinds of screen protectors that I'm aware of. One is like InvisibleShield where you use a liquid to stick it on to the screen (more or less) and the other kind is a sticker.
View 24 RepliesMany of these types of message boards have a "to buy or sell" area. I don't see one here. Is there one?I am looking to sell an unused Invisible Shield for the iPad
View 4 RepliesI've seen several people say there are threads about poor invisible shield alignment on the ipad 2 but can't find them for the life of me. I didn't even know the invisible shield for ipad 2 was out. I preorderd on their site a couple weeks ago and they said it'd be out soon AFTER the product was launched on the 11th. On the 11th their site switched so it doesn't refer to it as a preorder anymore but mine still hasn't shipped yet. many people have said other brands aren't shipping till around the 14th/15th.
I saw IS's around ipad 2 booths that were for the ipad 1 and am wondering if maybe people picked up those, or if the IS for ipad 2 really was available some places. So does anyone actually have an IS specifically for ipad 2. maybe they can take some pics of the alignment. I know know of these skin companies do it absolutely 100% perfect.
My invisible shield back coverage protectors arrived today. Also the invisible shield screen protectors aren't as good as the matte screen protectors due to its rubbery consistency which interferes with the normal gliding movements of the fingers. Started with the 32gb model on the right side then took pictures of the naked 64gb to its left for comparison.
