Program To Recognize The Faces On Photo Application Options
Sep 11, 2010
I have a pc and an iPad and I am trying to figure out what photo program I can use that works with both my pc and my iPad. I want the program to recognize the faces and places on the photo application on the iPad. Does anyone know of a program for the PC that will work with the iPad?
When I turn it on and see the Apple logo, the first few seconds are so dim you can barely see the logo, then they brighten up to normal. This just started happening, and continues to happen every time I turn it on. Should I ask for a replacement or is there a solution to this?
ITunes keeps popping up, even when I am going into another app on my ipad and asking me for my password. The only thing I can figure is that it is still trying to download some music I bought and it burped part way through and not all the songs downloaded. I thought they had, but when I just tried to get into itunes it automatically went to "downloads" and is still trying to process some of them. I tried buying the music on Saturday As far as games and ibooks the connection has worked, but this was the first music I had tried to buy Question is.
I like the iPad and if the WiFi worked I'd be happy to have it and use it. But the WiFi is--at very best-- intermittent, and slow at that. My iPhone 4 is much faster and much more secure in getting and keeping a WiFi connection.I'm wondering if there are any options? I bought mine from Best Buy about 2 months ago. I was thinking of trying to return it to Apple for "repair" or replacement, if they'll do that. Surely there cannot be any question of the "WiFi problem," I mean, Apple cannot deny it, can they?
I have been testing GM 2 for a couple of days and overall safari seems more robust. However I noticed a problem when surfing certain websites. For example when surfing Facebook for a short period of time I noticed that Safari starts to stall. It will work fine and load pages very quickly then the problem starts. Safari will not completely load the page, the progress bar stalls, and Safari responds very slowly.I can easily replicate after viewing several pages on Facebook and the progress bar will never finish. If I click over to another website ie. Google, the progress bar completes. If I go back to Facebook the problem then returns. I also tested using iCab and it seems to view Facebook with no issue. So I think it might just be a Safari issue.
I am experiencing a strange problem with my iPad that I bought last summer.
After using it a while, sometimes the touchscreen starts to act funny. I press a letter (in the keyboard) and it pushes another button, not the one I have pressed. Then the touchscreen usually loses the "sense of touch" and wherever I press with my finger the iPad things that I am pressing something else and it starts to launch programs by itself.
Usually when I turn the iPad off, and on it works fine again until the problem reappears after a while. It seems totally random.
I am not sure if this is a software or hardware problem, but I will wait till the new 4.2 ios update and if the problem still reappears I will have to send my iPad back to Apple for repair. :/
I generally try to download larger apps via my PC, running on Windows 7 Pro, using iTunes 10. This is to save a bit on my wifi bandwidth. I then sync these apps to my iPad 2 (16GB, Wifi only) using the USB cable. Later, when I connect to a wifi network, my iPad starts downloading these same apps again! This defeats the point of downloading via iTunes on PC. Why does this happen? What can I do do stop it from downloading the same thing twice?
On my iPhone, whenever I opened my camera roll, it would always show me my latest pictures. But on my new iPad, each time I open the camera roll (they're pictures transferred from my iPhone) it shows me the oldest photos then I have to swipe like an idiot all the way down to see the latest ones..
If I close the video app and then go back into the video, it begins from the beginning. If I am watching a video saved to my iPad then it remembers my last location.
I've updated my iPad to iOS 4.2.1. I'm getting a new behavior in the iPod/videos function. I have a video podcast with about 20 unwatched episodes. Until I did the upgrade, I would play an episode, it would end and would return to the menu screen. I liked this behavior, but now, under iOS 4.2.1, when the podcast episode ends, it proceeds right into the next one.I get it, some people might like it the way it is now, and that's fine. My deal is, that's obviously a behavior that's controlled via software. That parameter needs to be accessible to users, and it's not.First question: is there a secret handshake that will allow me to control this aspect of podcast playback? If not, what would be the process of engaging the iPod software folks to try to create something where such parameters can be made accessible?
Starts Sync And Then After A Few Minutes Just Stops
Jun 23, 2010
I plug my new iPad into the computer, it starts syncing and then after a few minutes just stops and iTunes closes, with no sort of a warning. I am left with some music on my iPad but only part way through the artists beginning with B. Curious and annoying
When I do a search in the maps app. that begins with the letter k, (I was looking to see where kuwait was), the app crashes. I was wondering if anybody else has this problem and how I could fix it
I used to be able to leave my iPad at 100% overnight and I'd wake up and it still would be at 100%. I could go a day and it would remain at 100%. Now overnight, I am losing 4-5% and about 15% over 18 hours.
I've checked the settings in iTunes under "Summary/Options" in iTunes and the option is checked to start iTunes when the iPad is connected. However, when ever I connect my iPad to my iMac, iPhoto starts automagically instead.... I have manually start iTunes and even then it takes several seconds for iTunes to recognise that I've connected the iPad.
i have an ipad generation 1. ever since i bought the ipad, i have been encountering problems regarding downloading apps directly from the ipad. when the progress bar of the app reaches around 50%, it resets and does it over and over. another problem, when i download a magazine app, for example gq and when i purchase and download a magazine, an error message always pops out. i have tried upgrading the o.s and now its up to date 4.3.3, but i still am encountering the same problem. any solutions?
For some reason, the electronic slider that you move to turn on the ipad doesn't slide anymore. Every once in a while it will make a slight jump to the right, but only a small amount. But, it still turns on normal. The slider you use to turn it off works good.
It mostly does it when I have the keyboard on top and slight pressure is applied. I have the smart cover on the ipad and the keyboard in a JAVOedge sleeve.
