Got my Ipad and love it! I am running in 3g, but want to be able to go on my wifi so I can download movies, or whatever. My connection comes up but there is a 'lock' symbol in the corner that is closed, and I cannot access it. How do I unlock my wifi?
I slid my ipad air screen to the right. I then had a blank white screen with only wifi symbol, time and percent of charge. Only thing that would work was getting SIRI activated. That went away after a while and screen went black. I tried to turn air on or off by pressing the power button to no avail. Want to add the unit was about 70 percent charged during all this.
I have a 32 Gb 3G+wifi and for some reason my wifi symbol will not show up. I can still connect to it though and my 3G I made sure was turned off so it still works but the symbol won't show up. Right now in the top left it says "iPad" with no symbol next to it.
I recently found a network at work called Free Public WiFi. When i connect to it I get the WiFi symbol at the top left that shows a wifi connection. However, when i open Safari and try to open a website it says Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the Internet.
I just wonder you have the same problem of ipad2 wifi signal symbol.I just can not find the symbol of wifi which is supposed to be the top-left in the screen of ipad2, even though I can access the internet.
as I understand it one of best ways of securing wifi Is to hide the ssid. but when I try this my devices obviously can't connect to the network. even though they have connected before so should remember the network.
anyone else tried/managed to do this or is it not worth it? have altered the default admin password on router
iPad 64 3G/Wifi Looses secure wifi network credentials periodically. I retype in the 26 character key and I get back on. This is very unnerving and sometimes leaves my family stranded without a connection. Is this going to be a permanent flaw of the iPad?
I recently connected my iPad to a wifi network with weak signal strength. Now my emails get stuck in my outbox instead of being sent. I can turn off wifi and use 3g, but then I have to remember to turn it back on when I leave. How do I stop the iPad from auto-connecting to the faulty wifi?
I recently bought the iPad 64 wifi + 3G. I face a problem when I want to switch wifi to 3G network or the reverse. I do it through the parameters window. The wifi or 3G indicators do appear but then when I launch safari, no connexion is madfe and the following error message appear : "No cellular data .." What can I do?
Plus I have problem connecting when both wifi and 3G are on.
The ipad should manage this easily. That's key for its use.
I got the new ipad and it won't connect to ANY wifi network. I know I am getting the password right because I had "forgot" the network on the ipad 1 just to make sure I knew the password. I tried rebooting it and turning the airplane/wifi mode on/off.
I have the IPAD2 and I'm experiencing several issues trying to connect to the wifi network. I have some more Apple equipments at home with no problem at all. Is there any wifi issue for some IPADs? How to fix it?
When I try connect to my WiFi network this appears "Unable to join the network". I already reseted my network settings. I made sure that my other devices at home can connect to the same network. I also tried rebooting my device. My iPad is only two months old.
This is the third time I have had this problem since I bought my ipad about 6 months ago. What happens is that every time there is a software update my ipad will refuse to connect with any Wi-Fi networks. It will usually be disconnected for about a week and I cannot remember how I fixed it last time. I have updated the software (via the computer), tried turning the iPad on and off again, restarted the modum while the iPad was turned off, done a full system restore, 'reset network settings' and checked my iPad access point. I know this is not a problem with my internet modum because every computer in our house is working; even our second iPad 2 is working fine (it has never had any problems like this).
I have a iPad 3 Wifi running iOS 6.1.3, and before (May 31, 2014), it was working perfectly. As the title says, my iPad 3 cannot connect to any WiFi network. It would always say "Incorrect password for 'WiFi network'.". I would always double check, but still, with all the correct information, it would still say "Incorrect password for 'WiFi network'.". Now that I have no WiFi, I can't really do anything on the iPad. I've tried everything I could (Reset Networks, use Static, diasble Ask to join networks etc.),
