When I move the sliders to on, they stay for a couple of seconds, then move back to off. This is with an iPad 2 on ios5. Although it did the same thing on ios4 when it had options for books and apps. Was hoping ios5 would fix it but hasn't.

Apr 28, 2010I reformat my hard drive and reinstall Itunes. When syncing.. I allowed the option to Transfer Purchase from ipad to itunes. But afterwards, any new applications I downloaded from itunes no longer get transfered to ipad upon synching. Anyone got any idea why? I live outside US. Best App To Use For Office Functions?
Jan 19, 2011My first question is which would be the best app to use for office functions? I'm a student and I have to use PowerPoint, Word and Excel on a daily basis. I'd like to be able to make, edit and read all of these formats. Powerpoint is really important as all my lectures are in that format. I've heard good things about quick office, office hd and docs to go but cannot for the life of me work out which is best for everything that I need. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? And secondly does anyone have any suggestions on apps that I definitely need as a student? I also run a small business so any app suggestions that would help with the daily running of a business would be great?

May 7, 2010So I've noticed a problem in the past few days.I have a setup on my desk where my MBP and my iPad share desk space. I find myself going back and forth between the two for various tasks, generally using the iPad as a desktop organizer while at my office, and doing technical designs and reviews on the MacBook.Lately though I find myself trying to pinch or drag objects on the MBP by reaching for the screen. I try to move objects around in a design only to realize nothing happened and having a "DOH!" moment before reaching for the mouse or touchpad.
Half Functions Of IOS 4.2 Not Working
Dec 3, 2010I installed ios 4.2 and many of the functions such as Air Print, Air Play, Mail enhacements are not available. Folders are available and I can multi task but the slider at the bottom of screen does not work so I cannot control a task once switched to another app.

Looking For Touch Response For The Different Functions?
Sep 18, 2010Sorry to ask so much, but I am new to this and I'm sure that my questions won't be so frequent soon.
I was just in webmail which is earthlink.net and trying to reply to an email. I hit "reply" and then where there is the space in which you normally type a reply I touched the screen, but the keyboard didn't appear.
My question is where should i touch the screen? I was able to reply to emails yesterday with no problem and I'm wondering if I'm just touching in the wrong place?
I've been reading the apple manual, but wonder where I could read more about the touch response for the different functions. For instance, The GPS logo is not always so easy to activate, even my tech person had a bit of trouble getting it to work.
